We’ve all watched people in the Middle East battle for freedom. But one man is waging another war, the battle for spiritual freedom. His name is Dr. Maz, an Egyptian, a former medical doctor who has a heart to plant house churches in Islamic countries. To assist Dr. Maz, International Christian Response (ICR) provided assistance, and by 2003 there were 900 house churches. Today there are thousands of house churches in Egypt alone, and is the biggest house church movement in the Middle East. Through Dr. Maz’s efforts this movement is exploding.
